How to create a dynamic pose (Maya 2019)
In this new Animation Tutorial, I am going to show you how to create dynamic pose with your character for a fighting shot.
As usual, I start with a sketch drawn by me, to make sure I have a good composition, solid line of action and silhouette
Once I am happy with my sketch I start to pose my character in 3d
I usually use a hierarchy system, which means I start from the pelvis, till the leg. once I am happy with that I will focus on the spine, head, and arms.
If I am happy with the overall result I start to add the face expression and tweak the pose.
In the very end, I decided to show you as well how to use the Cel Shading material in Maya.
